Facilitator Courses

‘Train the trainer’ courses are the most cost-effective way for schools or Districts to deliver their own VETsteps courses to a large number of teachers/trainers. Facilitators attending the comprehensive six-day courses are provided with intensive training and support materials that help them provide high quality professional development and ongoing support for other teachers.

Courses are based on two sessions, separated by approximately one month.

• Part 1 - four days
• Part 2 - two days

• Comprehensive Facilitator Notes to conduct up to 12 hours of professional learning for teachers and trainers
• A complete set of presentation materials, and PowerPoint™ slides
• A comprehensive text book containing Vet information and strategies that can be used across all workplace contexts
• A Certificate of participation (36 hours)

VETsteps
Teacher/Trainer Courses

These hands-on, two-day courses equip teachers/trainers practical strategies that can be used to help students grasp literacy-related workplace skills and concepts. Participants will discover the links between literacy and the success in the workplace and will leave with a load of ideas for supporting students as they read, view, listen and speak in workplace contexts.
