First Steps 2nd Edition Facilitator Courses

These ‘train the trainer’ courses are the most cost effective way for schools or districts to deliver their own First Steps 2nd Edition Literacy courses to a large number of teachers. Facilitators will receive intensive training and support materials that will help them provide high quality professional development and ongoing support for other teachers.

First Steps 2nd Edition Leader Courses

As well as covering the content from the Teacher Course, these four-day courses delve more deeply into content and focus on helping literacy leaders support other teachers as they implement First Steps 2nd Edition. During the course participants will receive a range of practical processes to promote on-going implementation at a school level as well as tips to provide effective coaching.

First Steps 2nd Edition Administrators Workshop

This workshop recognizes that leadership is crucial to the successful implementation of any professional development program. It is designed to support school and district leaders, such as Principals and administrative staff. The workshop explores the research behind factors that influence the implementation of change in an educational setting as well as providing practical ideas, formats, and processes to create a supportive environment for teachers implementing First Steps 2nd Edition.
