Courses and Resource Books
STEPS Professional Development provides teachers, schools, and
districts with a range of comprehensive and highly practical professional
development courses based on award winning teacher resource books.
Each course is specifically crafted to help participants take
on the various roles of a PRESENTER, COACH, LEADER, or USER.

First Steps in Mathematics
Helping teachers to identify and correct students’ misconceptions
about mathematics.
Based on cutting-edge research, First Steps in Mathematics
develops and expands teachers’ understanding of mathematics
and how children learn mathematics. First Steps in Mathematics
enables teachers to successfully diagnose, plan, implement,
